Low Battery Backup..??

This post is dedicated to the low battery backup which is experienced by the low end Indian re-branded devices (Micromax, Karbonn , Lava) which have ridiculously less battery times. It's not exclusively for Indian Devices , those facing low battery backup on other devices as well can also give this method a hit.

Please do note here I am referring to the Phone's Standby Battery Drain.. This mod will in no way increase your ScreenOn Time (usage time).

Prerequisites :-
-Make sure you do know whats root and have root access on your devic.
-Must have a little knowledge about Xposed Framework.
(If you guys do not know what is all this, just take some effort and bring Google to some use)

I too have been facing constant battery drop rates when using any kitkat rom on my device. So I decided to take a deeper look into the problem.
From what i have learned so far i came to the conclusion that :

Behind the scenes

All the kitkat roms are not able to put the cpu to deep sleep mode.. which means all your four cores (my device) are running constantly consuming the battery even when you are not using it..

Solution

Recently I stumbled upon an Xposed module which helps you put your cpu to deep sleep. now using this module I got a long lasting ideal battery life.. Now please also make a note here that this does in no way increases your screen on battery time.. I am still getting 2 and a half hours of screen on. but on the contrary the phones lasts for a day..

During deepsleep mode, Wifi, 3G are turned off, background apps are stopped. Therefore, most apps are not working, including Facebook, Google Service, etc,. It then constantly wakes up in order to download email, sync Facebook status, etc,. It's defined by deepsleep frequency and woke up duration.

Check out the module from the Xposed framework, the name is "DS Battery Saver" (ref - Deep Sleep Battery Saver)
